MapleStory 2 (Korean:메이플스토리 2; RR:Meipeul Seutori 2) was a free-to-make for massively multiplayer online use-playing game, developed by NSquare in tie with Nexon and NCSoft. MapleStory 2 was released happening 7 July 2015 in Korea.[3] The game takes many of the features of the original game, MapleStory, and applies them to a 3D voxel-based environment. Most enemies, NPCs, and locations made a devolve in this sequel, although with several changes.

On April 14, 2018, the Western version of MapleStory 2 was announced for resign with the first years of obstructed beta scheduled from Whitethorn 9 to 16, 2018.[4] On June 8, 2018, Nexon announced the launching of a second closed beta to launch on the July 18.[5] On August 21, 2018, Nexon announced the global liberate of MapleStory 2. The game was released to Hesperian markets on October 10, 2018 as a premier effect.[2]
Gameplay [edit]

Unlike its predecessor, MapleStory 2 features third-soul movement, and a "blocky look, similar to Minecraft" according to Polygon's Jullia Lee side.[6] The game contains features commonly seen in MMORPGs, much as a leveling system of rules and customizable weapons and armor, only also a "Battle Royale" musical mode,[7] PVP arena and inland decoration minigame.[8] At that place were also a number of bounty in-pun currencies, called the Blue Meret and Meso Token severally, which allowed players to buy unique equipment for their characters in the global servers.[9] The exchange premiu currency in the Korean version of the game is simply called the Meret (메럿).[10]
End of Japanese and Global version services [edit]
Along March 18, 2020, MapleStory 2 Japan and Westbound's management team proclaimed that the game's Japanese and Global services respectively would be closed for good every bit of Crataegus laevigata 27, 2020.
